Security

JUGS Sports is concerned about the protection of our customers. For that reason, we have implemented several technological safeguards to ensure that our transaction process is particularly safe and that our customers' information is secure.

Payment Safety & Security on jugssports.com

  • You can safely enter your entire card number on jugssports.com via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
  • We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
  • It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Customer Safety and Security Tips

  • Protect your passwords.  If using a public computer or terminal, always log out when you complete an online session.
  • Keep your passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.
  • When creating a password, use at least 8 characters--a combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, e-mail address, or other personal information that can be easily obtained.
  • Avoid using the same password for multiple online accounts.
  • Passwords must be a minimum of 5 characters.
  • It's best to avoid passwords that are easy to guess, such as "secret," or "password”. We also suggest that you avoid using your name, e-mail address, or other personal information that is easily obtained.
  • Though it's not a requirement, adding numbers or special characters to your password will make it even stronger. For example, the password "rivers2!%" is a much stronger password than "rivers."
  • Guard your password carefully. Remember, anyone who knows your password may access your account.
