    Super Easy & Quick set-up

Posted by Ed Perez on 17 Mar 2021

I bought this for our 12u/14u travel softball team. I find it much easier & quicker to build than the more popular brands because the poles are connected like tent poles. Plus the deep & long pocket make picking up the batted balls easier, and there are less bounce-back balls hopping out of the net like you get with others. The carabiners make set up really easy too. Another huge plus is the superior height of the net... no sag in the middle like with all the other nets out there.

The drop down strike zone is weighted so that is great. My daughter is not a pitcher but we use it as a target for my hitters to measure if they are getting around the ball & also for catchers to hit their spots on throw-downs.

The net breaks away on the left & right side too easily if you are hitting hard... so one suggestion for Jugs would be to make that velcro strap stronger, or come up with a different connection system... maybe just put more carrabiners like yo uuse at the top. Regardless, even when it disconnects, the net still works fine & it does not interfere w/ BP. If these were not sold out, I would buy another to keep up in the backyard since the other one stays in my truck.

    Complete Practice Travel Screen

Best screen on the market for long term use. Built solid with solid connections, unlike others it has a complete bar across top, others loose their strength and cave in. Plus the tent like elastic cable that runs through the two pieces make it easy to put together and quick to take down.

    Travel Screen

I have 11 yr. old twins, one boy and one girl, so we are hitting both baseballs and softballs into the screen. Works great. Had a problem with a bent corner of the frame, called the company and they replaced it immediately. High quality and great customer service. The pitching 9 slot is nice too, especially for softball. Wish Jugs had a portable pitching mound for baseball (that's a hint Jugs!). Looking at pitching machines in the future.

Picture does not justify the size. Definitely recommend this product.

    Practice Travel Screen

I believe this is the best screen available. The entire opening can be utilized because the entire net is loose from the frame. Any ball hit into the net stays in the net as it should. A friend of mine owns the same screen and his son has used it DAILY for 5+ years,so I am not concerned with longevity.

    Best screen for the money!

Used a lot of travel screens and this one by Jugs is hands down the best. I bought a year ago and just purchased another for my sons travel squad.

Can't beat the price and can't beat the quality.

    7x7 Travel Screen

We own 3 different screens now used for pitching and hitting. This is the heaviest. The netting is heavier and there is more frame than most others. That's not a negative, but you should be aware of the weight. It is well made and Easy to put up thanks to the bunge cords. Once you put it up just once it takes only a couple of minutes. You always expect quality from Jugs and this is quality. The pitching zone thing was a nice addition.
